I’ve spent thirty years working in management and leadership roles in the charity and not-for-profit sector. As a senior leader I have been responsible for delivering commercial targets and major development projects, whilst leading large teams of staff and volunteers and working with a wide range of external stakeholders. I find executive leadership coaching a rewarding way to support others who are on a journey that I have been on myself.
I’m interested in supporting people wanting to develop their potential within an organisation, and those who need to develop a more strategic perspective after a promotion. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Systems Thinking from the Open University and have a particular interest in the systemic management of change, which enables me to assist individuals to reflect on their role within an organisation and the wider impact which they can make.
I also have experience of developing and running leadership training programmes for my own team, and of creating an internal coaching programme.
Scope of a typical executive coaching programme
Two hour coaching sessions will take place on a regular basis, normally once every 4-5 weeks, over a six month period. The programme will consist of twelve hours of coach time between Coach & Coachee, plus up to 3 three-way meetings, with the Line Manager/Coach Sponsor. You can download more information here:
Coaching sessions will normally be conducted via zoom, and can include outdoor walking coaching sessions – either in person or via phone, depending on the location of the Coachee.
In addition to the scheduled sessions, I am available between sessions for contact by email or phone. Clients can use this facility to update me on progress against specific actions or to talk through issues which have arisen and cannot wait until our next session. Prior to the commencement of a coaching assignment there will be an introductory chemistry meeting between coach and coachee.
A typical Executive Coaching package costs £4,500
